Some probably already know this, but all three volumes of Das Kapital plus many other good reads can be found on this site:

I had a hard time finding volumes two and three in any library, so I think it's pretty cool that these are availible online.

Enjoy. :)

I'm reading Das Kapital right now. I find myself re-reading almost every section. It's hard to comprehend for me and is my second work that I'm reading by Marx. It's huge!

Are there any more websites where I could download more books like that?

There's a sticky up at the top about books for download.

concerning online books free for download, isn't there a strong chance they have been altered in anyway? copyright doesn't exist there, so how do you know the book you are reading is faithful to the printed one?

Well Zombie, we don't know really. But if you examine the sites that are presenting them, you'll probably have a good idea. I don't imagine marxist.org is going to alter Marx's books. Unless there is a massive communist conspiracy.

I have tried to read it, but it was a little to heavy. Instead I'm reading a book by Boris Ponomarjov called Marxism in a world under change. The next thing I ought to read is something by Krompotkin or Bakunin. I found a new big love: anarchism!
