Last night some wanker chose to pummel my face, resulting in a wonderful trip to A&E followed by a stay in hospital during which I underwent various sacans to make sure my head was reasonably intact. I have absolutely no idea who did it, can't remember why they did and am completely unable to describe their features.

:) Cheers for the sympathy (and advice, wishes for getting even and so on.). No lasting damage thankfully, only lasting inconvienince is paying for a new pair of glasses so it could have been a hell of a lot worse. Ah, see I don't know who did it, and likely never will but even if I did I'm not about to be charging off to stab them in the face (as course of action suggested to me). I still think they're a prick but in the long term there's no lasting injury to forgive for (save the tooth but I daresay my quintessentially british oral hygeine would have taken care of that sooner or later anyway). There's not too much to be gained from dwelling on it anyway, apart from various pictures of rodents.
