Nobel in literature 2009, Noble committee back in action again

I today have read about the person and her literary works, for which she had been awarded Noble prize in literature, 2009. I want comments of others about this matter.

I don't put much stock in the noble prize, its just the rich and powerful slapping the backs of the rich and powerful, the chum of fascist dictators worldwide milton friedman won one of the prizes before once, go figure.
