Obama leads such a Hollywood-esque style administration....

His main man Rahm Emanuel is a New Democrat showboat who's brother is famous Hollywood agent Ari Emanuel. You might be familiar with the character Ari Gold from Entourage whom is based off of Emanuel.

He has a former Maxim Underwear model as an aide who also dated Obama's director of speech writing Jon Favereau (not the Iron Man director). Apparently, Favreau though, did date Rashida Jones, Music mogul Quincy Jones's daughter. Then there is the appointment of Kal Penn (yes from the White Castle movie) to some obscure position. Then the near appointment of Sanjay Gupta as Surgeon General.

Now these are hardly appointments that make any difference to actual legislative process, or should be worth noting. But I just wanted to point out just how media driven and how "show-y" this administration is. Then there are all the Wall Street moguls he has as advisors; Volker, Geitner, Rubin, and Summers.

I know that its really not that big of a deal but it just strikes me as though this is not that serious of an administration. As though its just an act.

Obama's goons in the media are now fact checking an SNL skit which was critical of his first nine months in office. Now Obama is a little furious with the media, throwing a little hissy fit at those disagreeing with the "messiah". He's on full blast now trying to take on his critics in right wing wacko land and the mainstream press.

So basically, we should be prepared for a full on assault of government propaganda vs. the usual right wing drivel.

Well, would be refreshing if he actually made himself perpetual dictator and installed universal healthcare as his right-wing critics claim he wants to. The more I read the right-wing criticism of him, the more I start to think, "if it was just so".
