Is it true that Che Guevera was killed by the cia? I heard that once, but Im pretty sure it's not true. Anyone know where I can find out more information about this?

It was more like the CIA trained troops killed him, the CIA wanted to bring him to panama for 'questioning' but the Bolivians, and Che himself, prefered him dead. (same source as lara tho)

There was a CIA officer present at his execution.

In those declassified files I think the only one present was the soldier that killed him, but Che intimidated him the first time he had to be forced back to kill him.

Pete, don't forget it was Félix Rodríguez (CIA agent) who was actually desperately trying to "haunt" and kill Che. In fact, he was present when Che was caught and he was very pleased to order his murder to a stupid soldier. (He didn't dare doing it by himself)

But Felix Rodriguez had enough guts to put the photograph above his fireplace of himself and Che---the one taken hours before he let Teran kill him. *
It makes me sick to my stomach that Felix Rodriguez holds that picture in a prominent spot in his house like it is the achievement of his life.
He came down with asthma right after Che's murder. *He got off easy.

That's right Larissa. But what Felix and people like him don't realize is that sometimes killing the physical body of a man makes him LIVE more than EVER BEFORE!

I've read some of the de-classified CIA files where there stands in plain english that the CIA trained bolivian brigade has captured Che Guevara...

what happened was che went to bolivia to start a revolution and it went wrong their base camp got found they where on the run for months in jungle with no help from cuba because their radio was broken che only had 24 men in to colums that got split up the local people where scared to help apart from a few and when che was captured he was totally fucked and needed help to get on and off his mule , the americans wanted him alive but the bolivians wanted him dead they cut of his hands to make sure it was him they sent for finger print proof then sent in a soldier from the company that was in the last battle with che who killed three of his comrades and also the communist party in bolivian double crossed him and fidel the dirty bastards!

wasnt it true that the Bolivian Communist Party were never true supporters of Che's real ends; the coup which would bring a revolution to Simone de Bolivar's homeland. they did not want the revolution "from outside" and distrusted Che's motives.

I truly wonder Larissa, what does he think nowadays ? I mean Che is more alive nowadays than he was before his death.

Does anybody know where he lives? I'm guessing Florida. The U$ seems to move all of their political/human rights criminals there.
I hope the guy dies the most painful, long drawn out death ever. F***ing Traitor!

felix rodriguez is alive and well despite the asthma that he mysteriously contacted after che's death.....he appeared on a popular spanish television show "Don Francisco Presenta" some months ago and basically retold his story of what happened that day......he's a very eloquent speaker with a profound voice but even on such a big forum as with Don Fransisco he couldn't convince me that his encounter with Che proved to be nothing but an act of self-accomplishment rather than accomplishing something for his cuban people.....he mighted provided the only chance for sparing Che's life considering that the CIA apparently wanted che alive for questioning, but in the end he was just another useless maniac indulged on the fact that he will be present to hear Che's last words.....

but in all your opinions what would have been better and what would che have preferred? execution in bolivia or being dragged away by the cia? either way its unfortunate that he didnt get to die a soldiers death.
death b4 dishonour
4th May 2003, 16:42
I agree with Dirty Jersey, I'd rather be killed in combat than executed in some school house or to be taken away by the CIA.

http://www.ratb.org.uk/vc/vc_24_mafia.html
Bush Jnr., of course, was 'elected' by swindling the vote in Florida after intense pressure from the Miami mafia. His brother Jeb is Governor of Florida. CANF leader, Jorge Mas Canosa described Jeb Bush as, 'one of us'. At George Bush Jnr's investiture was General Rafael Bustillos, head of the notorious El Salvadoran airforce. Alongside him stood his old friend, Felix Rodriguez.
Rodriguez lives now in Miami-Dade County surrounded by mementoes of his cold war against humanity; guns, grenades, bayonets, photos with George Bush, the belongings of prisoners tortured in Viet Nam and guerrillas murdered in South America. In the Radio 4 programme Rodriguez said that, if hadn't been for Fidel Castro, he would have been a rich businessman in Havana. Need we say more?
(it's worth to read the whole article)
