Obviously if your not christian, muslim or jewish you don't care. BUt if you are, this should make you sick to your stomach.

To me politicizing religion in any way is kind of sick or applying religion to politics is. But this is beyond that.

Why is this news? People have been changing Biblia Sacra since the Roman Empire era.

That's the inviolable word of god for you. Religion, though, is always politicised and I have no idea where the concept of seperating religion and politics has come from? Perhaps that most countries have either officially or unofficially banned religion from having a hand in the state.

I didn't watch the video, but I got a good chuckle from "government" being an example of a liberal word.

Yeah, we even came up with a less clumsy way of saying it a few centuries ago, maybe you should look into that.

Why is this news? People have been changing Biblia Sacra since the Roman Empire era.Because it's hella funny and hypocritical; also shows that the religious right is actually a political not a spiritual movement.

Here's the website: Conservapedia (http://conservapedia.com/Conservative_Bible_Project)

Apparently, the bible is too socialist for conservatives:

Third Example - Socialism

Socialistic terminology permeates English translations of the Bible, without justification. This improperly encourages the "social justice" movement among Christians.
For example, the conservative word "volunteer" is mentioned only once in the ESV (http://conservapedia.com/ESV), yet the socialistic word "comrade" is used three times, "laborer(s)" is used 13 times, "labored" 15 times, and "fellow" (as in "fellow worker") is used 55 times.

I'm an Atheist and this makes me want to diarrhea dump all over Pat Robertson and the rest of the religious right. What fucking goons.

They should just stop all the bullshit, drop all pretense that there interested in spirituality or what Jesus has to say, and rewrite the whole thing putting Reagan and Aynn Rand in there.

Stephen Colbert on his show the other day suggested that he be written into the bible.

Wow, just plain blasphemy for the Bible itself has said that the Lord would remove from the Book of Life anyone who removes a word from the Bible. But don't get me wrong here the vast majority of Evangelical Christians probably think this is blasphemy also.

I have nothing against religion. I don't think that it is a cause for fighting, but idiots such as the people that want to change the bible? This is an abomination of christianity. I don't consider myself a christian or anything, but I belive in a god of some kind. This is one of the reasons that there is religious fighting. For stupid reasons.
