Anarcho-Capitalism???

Isn't Anarcho-Capitalism contradictory? Anarchists are against capitalism and the things that come with it such as, private property and exploitation of workers. So it makes no sense that the words "Anarcho" and "Capitalism" would be put together in the first place. Seems like a huge contradiction to me.

So is Anarcho-Capitalism really Anarchism?

Yes the words are contradictory and no it is not really Anarchism. You can read why at: http://www.infoshop.org/faq/secFcon.html

The "An-Caps" try to treat the word Anarchism as just a word with no historical background. They claim the word for themselves with the barest definition of it. Anarchism has meaning beyond just "without rulers" that they leave out because what anarchism really is goes against everything they try to make up.

Luckily they are only white kids on youtube. There is no real movement.

You've already found the basic problem with calling "anarcho"-capitalism anarchistic. It isn't in any way shape or form.

You are right Anarcho-Capitalism is contradictory, and no it isn't Anarchism. Anarchism stands for the abolition of hierarchy in society, of course this would not be the case in such a society.
