So, how come it takes so long for the cops to arrive? Obviously there is someone using this camera (otherwise it wouldn't be moving about and stuff). Isn't the point of all these cameras to "protect" people? I guess it just goes to show that cameras don't actually stop crime...

It was a CCTV camera and not a personal one, so there is nobody behind the camera so to speak. CCTV just records, if an incident is reported then the police will look at the CCTV footage, otherwise most CCTV recording just gets deleted after a while.

No, it's point is to record stuff that could be used as evidence of a crime, that and social control.


I guess it just goes to show that cameras don't actually stop crime...

CCTV actually does very little in 'stopping crime', though in this case, there was no crime, a bunch of bigots pick on a pair of crossdressers and the crossdressers rightly defend themselves and give as good as they get.

I was going to post a thread on this until i read it was UFC fighters doing it in irony for the lulz.

If anything I find it rather sad that the only way a man can walk safely in public in a dress is by 15 years of weight and tae kwon do training.

As i said, i was aware of their real identity prior to you posting this thread. Hence my not starting it myself.

Yeah this is pretty much chit-chat material now.

I agree with mindbender though, while there is nothing wrong with novelty transvestism per se (I have done it myself on occaison, but it's not something I'd bother with regularly) the only real relevance this has is that some bigoted pricks just can't pick their fights. If two guys are walking arm in arm down the road "for the lulz" and some homophobic fuckwit gives them abuse for which they kick him shitless it's similarly not going to be an issue for the discrimination forum; pleasing though it is to see these twats get their cummupence.
