Corporate communism, I love it, good job MSNBC, take that work away from the far right put corporate in front of it and call the other side it.
I love the way he also points out that its a 1 party system where money rules.

I doubt I even need to point this out here, but man, is political discourse here in the states a complete joke.

Yeah, but heres the problem, for the longest time the liberals and even the left has been trying to have honest discourse, while the right was being rediculous misusing language and speaking shit, now the liberals are trying the right at their own came, your gonna call us communists to try and equate free health care with gulags? OK, we'll call you corporate communists.
Obviously its a joke, but sometimes you gotta fight fire with fire.

This isn't Communism--it's Fascism.

This has been going on for a while. Basically, that host doesn't believe we live in a capitalist system, he believes we live in a corporatist system, which is closer to communism than it is to the free-market. Liberals believe that the free-market leads to tyranny, and thus can lead to communism. The debate is thus what is the 'good' kind of capitalism. It should be no surprise that this is the debate.
This is also largely due to the "Miseans" who blame the failures of markets and capitalism on the government who is protecting these institutions in the extreme and trying to ensure that they would succeed (they'd fail worse without the government).
Sometimes, these goons even start accusing each other of being communists. For example, here is an "anarcho"-capitalist showing up to a tea party rally and calling them communists and leftists:

Cenk is a stupidassed liberal. He should be calling them fascists, but no, it's just another slur against the left.

Nobody except folks on the left dares to call this corporatism, though.

Yeah, no shit, thats the accurate discription, but you know what, if people are going to attack one side with rediculous bullshit, then switch it, to be honest, I don't care about the word communism, I care about the idea of it.

COmmunism has also been gulagized, so why now switch it.

The Young Turks always have such shitty analysis of nearly all the topics they talk about.

Agreed COMPLETELY.
If you compare our economic doctrine to that of 20th Century leaders, you'll find America more closely parallels Mussolini's National Syndicalism (a fusion of government and business) and corporatism than any form of socialism. At his furthest left, Obama was maybe a social democrat, or what is more accurately called a social fascist.
