Palestine, Israel and the U.S. Empire provides a sharp analysis of historic and current events in the struggle for Palestine—from the division of the Middle East by Western powers and the Zionist settler movement, to the founding of Israel and its regional role as a watchdog for U.S. interests, to present-day conflicts and the prospects for a just resolution.

The book’s narrative is firmly rooted in the politics of Palestinian liberation. Here is a necessary introduction to the heroic efforts of the Palestinian people to achieve justice in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds.

Just got my copy today, so far its excellent. It covers the entire history, backed up by quotes and sources, photos, great intro to Zionism, and most importantly, a fantastic analysis on the US's imperialist role in the whole tragedy.

It really puts it into world historical perspective. Great resource for easy info.

Are you a PSL member, splitteeth? Even if you aren't, I think you're from New York and we're very active there. I'm sure you know about Frances Villar's campaign for Mayor. Regardless of whether you plan on joining or even support some of our politics, you should definitely get in contact with the New York branch and keep the momentum going.

I'm glad you guys enjoyed the book. Richard will be coming to my city in early November, so I'm pretty excited for that.

I don't think there's anywhere you'd be able to just pick it up. The Party for Socialism and Liberation's only international affiliations are with the member groups of the International Communist Seminar that meets every year, but we don't ship materials to any of the member groups. You can, however, purchase the book here: https://secure2.convio.net/peppsl/site/Ecommerce?VIEW_PRODUCT=true&product_id=1441&store_ id=1921&JServSessionIdr002=0c9dqa0di3.app7b

For international shipping, we ask that you add $10 in the donation field. Hope that the price doesn't deter you, since it's a great read.
