Comrades, aren't you sick of hipsters cannibalising fashion?!

Stand up for your selves for fuck sakes!

They took NHS glasses, they took wayfarers, this is an outrage!

Excuse the fact that that last post made little sense.

The languid visits to the botanical gardens whilst drunk on white wine is what we need more of.

No but srsly, the hipsters all wear the same glasses! It's horrible. I wanted to adopt that same frame but now I can't because the hipsters have taken it , schiser'd on it and ruin it.

What ****s!

who cares about their fashion...I don't mind them.
They're probably like most people and in comparison to other "sub-cultures" that come to my my mind those types of people aren't all to bad (although I'm willing to bet some are pretentious and the idea of wearing glasses, or frames without lenses, without needing them is dumb). Some suck and some don't

...problem with hipsters is the way in which they reduce the particularity of anything you might be curious about or invested in into the same dreary common denominator of how “cool” it is perceived to be. They take up whatever is popular and in style, and discards everything that the style originaly stood for.

Wow. While I'm sure in your seriously fucked up world sticking it to all those evil feminist of Revleft by using sexist language repeatedly makes you some sort revolutionary hero of the common man. But in reality, your an ass.

I bought some white rimmed shades from a service station when I was on the way to France on a school trip a la Kurt Cobian. Soon as I started to wear them, topman started to sell them and all the fancy ****s were wearing them, rendering my attempt at a homage to grunge worthless and meaningless.

fashion sucks. don't bother trying. dress in comfortable, hard-wearing, clothes

Parts of that article (especially the critical reception) looked as if it had been ripped from ED and cleaned up for language.

Any other commies out there think it is funny for us to be joking about conformity...

Yeah guys! Individualism rules!

But no, scene kids are the most annoying little shits on the planet. And recently started gathering all over the cafe I used to like to smoke at. They need to shut the fuck up. I like chilling in quiet without little shits screaming stupid shit at each other. And they need to fucking stop asking me for cigarettes, stupid little 13 year old fuckers.
Scene kids are not the same as Hipsters. They are worse. They piss me the fuck off.

Loud, *****y suburban kids from the ages of 13-17 with no taste in music or knowledge of anything going on in the world.
These kids don't even know who the fuck Bauhaus or Joy Division are, even though they are ripping off parts of the scene they created.

It's true. The thing is to just accept it, and move on.

You know, it's like that story from REAL ULTIMATE POWER (http://www.realultimatepower.net/index4.htm), called "Le Big Party":

The ninja, having scared himself, beat his own ass in a paradoxical way. It was quite confusing for the hippos. But they were mature--they didn’t try to make sense out of non-sense. The hippos moved on, accepting those things they cannot change and surrounded themselves with only positive energy. By not defining what happened that day (or even themselves--their relation to it), they never limited their understanding and they never limited themselves.

And that, comrades, is what really matters.
