the bit where JB dies and then lives again is ridiculous..but it was ok for a mainstream film

Isn't the plot about some corporate guy that wants to have a monopoly on the world's water supply? It's actually pretty awesome that 007 is fighting privatization.

i thought Casino Royale was 10000x better though.

When did that happen? I thought that was in Casino Royale?

Although I love Maddox, I still stand by my point that Bond fighting privatisation is just awesome. The rest of the movie does suck, however. And the point about Elvis is so hilariously true

Yes, cool thing they fight privatization, although it is a "rotten egg" who corrupts the otherwise fault-free capitalist society.

Though, they could have made it much better. Where the hell was the introduction shooting? At the end!? Bah!

I hated it. No plot, no intelligence and no quality.

And why does Forster insist on moving the camera every other second? What is the appeal of motion blur?

The first time I saw Quantum of Solace, I didn't like it. But after seeing Casino Royale and then watching Quantum again, it grew on me. I thought it was a good film. Fast-paced, but not bad compared to a lot of the high-speed Hollywood action bombs that have been produced as of recent years.

I like Daniel Craig, he offers the best portrayal of the Bond character, followed by Timothy Dalton.

I agree, love Craig's more brooding portrayal of Bond.

Am I the only one who didn't find the main woman in Quantum of solace not very attractive?
