In case nobody knows, I just got this book. Check out the thread AIGW in chitchat or the other one for details.
This might be fun, but it probably won't. I'm gonna ask questions about the book AS I read it. Just to see who knows what. Feel free to add anything I might have missed. NO CHEATING.
FIRST QUESTION:
what was ernesto guevara's motorcycle that he rode during his tour of central america named, and what did that name mean?
Dhul Fiqar

It was something like "The big one" or "Powerful Motherfucker" in Spanish
I can't remember the Spanish word, but it was something with P.

head of national bank?
Menshevik
28th April 2003, 00:35
indeed, he was head of the bank. National Treasurer. Funny story, at a boring meeting early in the Revolution Fidel, exasperated, asked, "is anyone here an economist?" Che, not paying attention, misheard him and thought he said, "is anyone here a Communist?" So he raised his hand and they gave him the job.

calrification of the question:
guerrilla combat, or its form of attack can be said to consist of having two phases.
the second phase is a sudden conversion into total passivity.
what is the first phase?
Dan Majerle

this is a guess. THe first stage is the attack or ambush. THe second stage is the waiting for the reenforcements to come and pass you by so you don't confront a heavy enemy that is larger then you. Quick, flash attacks.
