When I first started listening to rock music I listened to anything that was called rock.
Eventually I defined my musictaste more and shaved off alot of bands.

These include and are sadly not limited to:
Guns 'N Roses, Led Zeppelin, Yes, (post-Yardbirds) Eric Clapton and Grateful Dead.

I'm sorry but not liking Led Zeppelin is growds for an immidiate punch in the mouth. I would say the same for the grateful dead but that isn't really in keeping with the "feel" of them - I'd say you deserve a stern frowning at.

I used to like all sorts of stupid shitty music, no point listing it all here. I used to like a lot of posters on here when I first came on that I now think are a bunch of tossers; listing them, of course, is a bad idea because it will just lead to ill will and flaming.

Led Zeppelin is a good band, so long as they keep the harder rock influences to a minimum. In other words, I like their broadly blues, jazz, and folk-influenced stuff, particularly the songs with heavy mandolin, but I am biased in that regard. Unfortunately, the excellent songs are always sandwiched in between whiny distortion tracks that sound like they belong in a commercial for beer or Ford pickup trucks.
It is true, also, in my opinion that the content of their lyrics is absolute trash. Luckily, I don't give two shits about lyrical content, so it doesn't matter.
