I read Catch-22 by Joseph Heller when I was 15 and didn't understand the big fuss about it, but I just finished reading it again and thouroghly enjoyed it. I also used to dislike King of the Hill but now appreciate the subtle humour.

What's something that you used to dislike but now like?

I used to hate onions. I mean I hated onions, if there was an onion on anything I would throw it away, because god I didn't want to wake up and taste that. But now I love them.

That and communism, I hated communism in my Conservative idiot stage.

I'm not really sure which is worse. Masoism or RAAN.

I used to fucking hate hip-hop, gin & danceable electronic music although in the case of the first and last it was more because I didn't really listen to them, rather than outright hatred. Gin I disliked thanks to a bad experience involving half a pint of the stuff when I was 14/15.

Lots of things. Fashion, styles of music (jazz, electro, indie, etc), fiction (I used to not find it interesting...don't know why). Just lots. LOTS.

Joy Division.

Although to be honest I havent even listened to a song by them at the time.
I was just getting into punk and my parents asked if I wanted to see Control because it was a punkfilm.

I looked it up online and read it was post-punk (a genre I now love but at the time I didnt know what it was and thought of it as bands like Franz Ferdinand and such trash) so I disliked Joy Division.

Eventually I got into bands like the Buzzcocks, PiL and Magazine, so Joy Division couldnt be far behind.
I also love the movie Control.
