Hello Comrades,
I'm a former political prisoner from the U.S., having served 18 years behind bars for my participation in Seattle's George Jackson Brigade, a revolutionary organization that engaged in anti-imperialist armed struggle during the mid-1970s. I am a part of the Communist Party of Second Life and a comrade there told me about this site. I am interested in developing ties with communists from other nations. I thought this would be a nice fourm for doing that. My handle is SubVersion, and propaganda is what I do.
I've edited your name out as we have several "interested groups" monitoring and reading this site. -Plagueround

Welcome west coast comrade - it sounds like you probably have a lot of lessons to share with some of us who've not been in the struggle as long and I look forward to reading what you have to say.

Thank you Gravedigger. I lived in the Bay Area until two years ago, so we are practially neighbors. I was a part of political groups in Oakland, mostly prisoner support organizations. I look forward to learning a lot from the people on this forum too.

Welcome :)
For what exactly were you jailed, if I may be so blunt?

To Q. I was part of a group that implemented the politics of armed struggle against imperialism in general and U.S. imperialism in particular. I served 18 years after a shootout with police at a bank expropriation. One comrade was killed and another wounded. Several escaped capture. Anyway, my crimes were federal bank robbery and two counts of attemted murder of police officers. Bummer, huh?
