Guerrilla Warfare by Che.
I just got it from the library today, the English version, it has a short introduction by Brian Loveman and Thomas M. Davies jr. and they do a really good job placing Guevara’s work in a “historiographical and theoretical perspective” and also case studies of guerrilla movements in Guatemala, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Nicaragua and El Salvador inspired by Che’s ideals.

I'm also reading Che Ernesto Guevara by Pierre Kalfon, this book I have it in spanish. Last year I read Ernesto Guevara also know as Che by Taibo, I think that the title, it was also in spanish and it was pretty good. That was my first introduction to Che

I also I would recommend reading about Subcomandante Marcos. I'll get started this week on that one and The other History of the USA from 1492 to present

Jorge Castenada's bio is pretty good, but equally thick.

Read the Motorcycle Diaries. Che wrote them when he was driving round S. America with a friend - its sooo interesting to be able to read what he actually thought. They aren't very political but are funny in a J.K.Jerome kind of way and its fascinating to see another side to Che away from all the hype.

Paco Taibo's bio of Che is great. About 800-900 pages. Also check out Last Man Standing. A bio about a black panther.

If you want a detailed book then go for A revolutionary Life by John Anderson. If you want a book in the form of diaries go for bolivian, motorcycle and congo also known as the african dream but the book I always recommend is a book called Che Guevara by Andrew sinclair. It is not that detailed but if your new to Che it will get you started and it is very easy to read.

The trick is to find a book without a biased opinion, or one not written by some capitolist bastard with the intent to sheild people's eyes while leading them somewhere that is not the truth. Sorry to say it goes unnoticed far too much. ESPECIALLY in literature.
