What is the Communist Party of China's current position on Stalin?

That's an intereting question, and I don't know the answer.
Some of the Chinese people I've talked to online seem to regard him as a "great man" of history, though they disagree with "the stalin model", which they apparently learned at school. I said to one how Stalin was regarded as a tyrant in the west and often grouped with Hitler, and she was very surprised.
So I'd guess that the official line is one of respect but disagreement, though I could be wrong

As far as I know the present line of the CPC is to uphold Stalin. As for Mao, they reject his post 1949 contributions.
