This is an interesting book. Especialy the way they talk about war. It is always so immenent, and noone expects that it will not happen, it is just a matter of when. It paralells in away the recent developments of American Warmongering.
Another aspect is the burning of the books and how dissent is treating. YOu are allowed to but you are ignored. And books are illegal, so you can not grow free thought.
Comments or anything. Please. I do not have a question to ask, but a book to discuss.

The ending was so frustrating it was amazing. It just cuts off and leaves you hanging. I never heard of it before I read it aswell, so I had no pretensions. It was just one of te 15 books I took from my english teacher (who was giving away many many books).

That was a really good book. My english teacher in ninth grade made it required reading, and I'm glad she did. I forgot about it after I got out of high school, but weren't there sequels to it? If so, are they worth the read?
