I actually use that line when anyone suggests that we play Monopoly.

I say, "Fuck Capitalism, but Monopoly is fun!" Ok, not really but I still enjoy playing that game regardless of it being Capitalistic. Me and a good friend actually made a parody about monopoly awhile ago, but I can't post it here since it has us in it(security culture).

Well, i am a person who loves strategy games. imperialism and militarism are the common subject. i had some issues with it when my politics changed but i dont care. as long as i dont feel the need to embody it in reality i wont stop playing them. they are great ways to work the mind. i even play supremacy 1914.


as for board games. Risk or Axis and allies is one of my favorites. My friend and i actually made up a whole set of new rules which were influenced by games like supremacy 1914 and hearts of iron. i was even going to post a copy of the rules on here but never got around to it. if anyone wants me to i can.

Monopoly is just tedious and boring though. but my favorite piece is either the boot or the wheelbarrow.

War on Terror: The Board Game is a lot better and more interesting. With 3-7 people it's very fun. I try to take over what was once the Soviet Union and pick up where the early Bolsheviks left off. Once you amass many national liberation cells it becomes easy to bomb oil pipelines and take oil profits that belong to other people for yourself. You can employ terrorists to do your dirty work, and nuke the other countries.

You all dudes need to play twilight struggle. It's a cold war board game, in which you are either the USSR or the US. You will then fight your opponent through art, science and proxies.
