This is especially for all those Trotskyists out there who need to get the facts straight about J.P. Stalin.

You also need to give it a rest because both Lev Trotsky & J.P. Stalin died over 50 years ago.

This is also dedicated to those missinformed individuals who think J.P. Stalin killed 20 million, 40 million, 60 million or whatever ridiculous number is the new and "correct" one.

It's time to learn the face of where these numbers are coming from.

Have fun!

Exactly. And when have the Trots ever done that?

We all know the answer.... NEVER!

I should have expected such a dogmatic response to this post.

Comrade Marcel,
Your ignorance is bad enough without you wearing like a badge of honuor. I suggest you read something that isn't pure propaganda before you next try and defie history.

O, and by most accounts it was 20 million.

1) I'm not a Trot so don't call me one
2) When has any authoritarian ideology ever had any loyalty to the people?

OK, so anything that you think is wrong is just "propaganda".....

You say that word as if it always implies lies, go get a dictionary buddy.

And of course, you just try to score points with me instead of actually debating.

No, don't bother to actually try and argue facts with facts, just call people ignorant and such....

And where is this number coming from?

The fascist Robert Conquest who uses information that he got from "reputable researchers" who got that information from Nazi propaganda?

Have you ever tried looking up the source of the information on this number? Did the book or article you read this in have any footnotes?

Did you even bother to read any of the stuff I posted?

1) I never called you a Trot. Quote me on this, don't just pull things out of your ass for the sake of argument.

2) What "authoritarian Ideology" are you speaking of?

A misunderstanding sorry. I thought when you said "And when have the Trots ever done that?" you were saying I was a Trot. My mistake.

Authoritarian ideologies like Maoism or Stalinism.

Authoritarian in what aspects?

I can see how a Anarchist would view it as authoritarian, but not a Marxist.....

There has to be rules for society to function properly, and Stalin and Mao built the foundations of two superpowers.

Look, you all need to calm down. It was this kind of infighting in the PCI that allowed Mussolini to take over Italy instead of Gramsci and Croce. Just to take a middle road here, Stalin was never a commie. Some historians believe that he never even read Marx. Trotsky was too mechanistic in his ideology. That being said, everyone weighing in on this discussion needs to investigate the theoretical basis of the Sandinista government in Nicuragua, read some Friere and get back to me.

That is just utterly ridiculous.

To say something like that, you would have to imagine that most of Stalin's writings do not exist.

Stalin never read Marx? jesus christ. as much as i hate the man, he could lay the fucking smackdown on any Marxist on this site when it comes to knowledge. you don't lead the USSR by just being a bit of a bully. he obviously knew his shit even if he did pervert certain teachings.
