MilitantAnarchist

I was thinking to myself... The great thing (and potentially bad thing, depending on how you look at it) about anarchism, is it varies on what it means from person to person... It is a completely individualist theory... By this i mean, what would be the perfect anarchist society to me, wouldn’t mean that to you...
You may disagree, but if it wasn't that way, then it wouldn’t be a free spirit, which is the whole point of anarchy... But what i was pondering, was do you think an anarchist commune could only work efficiently within another state... Unless the whole state was an anarchist state (so to speak... but that is impossible to come about instantly, as im sure we are all aware, but that is not the point here). Say we had a small village, where it was completely anarchist run. We would have no hierarchy, and no one to try and get into a position of power, but to be completely self sufficient, we would need outside help... For instance, to build buildings and hospitals we would have the workers, but no tools and materials, so we would need to buy or steal them from the state... for doctors, architects ect, we would need fully trained people (I’m sure no one wants any old fucker operating on you), but once we had those people, then we could educate within... We could generate our own electricity, and food, and clothes, so in most ways we are self sufficient... Now, I’m not some hopeless utopian who wants to live in the past, we have had wonderful technological advances, and although we could live without tele, and internet, we shouldn't have to, and we can steal these things, but it would grab unwanted attention, and the police would not just let us be, and give us regular harassment, giving them an edge isn’t the way forward. So we would have to pay for these things where we could, or go into the normal society for things like internet...I’m not 100% sure what my point is, other then the obvious in the title, but i think to have a true, modern day society, the best place to do it is within a capitalist state... What are your opinions, on my opinions?
