I believe this site contributes to an "intellectual" socialist revolution. At least, many people here have learnt a lot, or still learn everyday. We all debate, and it's interesting to understand how we think, but if you are referring to an "armed" revolution, well, maybe some of us might gather in the future, who knows...

It also helps in creating usefull conections between revolutionaries so they can help eachother out when the time comes.

Yes, this site aids revolution and revolutionary ideals in an intellectual way. Knowledge is by far the greatest gift you can give anyone. I'm also sure at least a few of us, as Larissa said, will end up being part of a revolution in a certain place, armed or not. However this site could perhaps work to aid revolution in other ways. Maybe a collection could be taken up to donate money to revolutionaries like the Batistas in Mexico or revolutionaries elsewhere.

Education and communication is the only way in which this forum can or could contribute. Both of which are extremely important.
Maybe a collection could be taken up to donate money to revolutionaries like the Batistas in Mexico or revolutionaries elsewhere.
Forgive me for not having much faith once again  but this is not really feasible. There's barely enough money to keep the webspace (or bandwidth, or whatever technological mumbo-jumbo you want to use) up and running.
See at the top-right the "paypal - donate" thing?
I suppose their could be links to charities provided, or something like that. But that's all bullshit, you can find plenty of charities around the place. Yada, yada, yada.
There was another extremely important point which I wanted to make.

i think this place has the potential to be a fuckin great arena for discussion, and we see it here and then on tehtopic of sects, armed revolution or not, class and racial struggle
The problem is, not many of the people are well informed on theory, and think its ok to have a "gist" of what socialism is, here is the problem of the forum

LOL. It would probably be best if we all just donate money/food ourselves. Not necessarily to revolutionaries but to the homeless as well.

Actually, given the fact that there are many competing theories of what communism is, could, and should be, and the fact that everyone has different ideas, I think that people who don't believe or know everything Kamo knows are what makes this forum great. Kamo is right on some things, and wrong on others, just like everyone else. Luckily, no one sets the standards here for what is correct theory, except for the power of our argumentation.

Good point, mate.
Now, let's hope people think about this before they start more fucking Stalin-justification threads.

CVT--- Forgive me, Re: your reply that you wrote Feb. 24th at 7:46pm---The wonderful Revolution in Mexico is the ZAPATISTAS not the "Batistas." One Batista was enough back in the 50's, remember? ;)
