A Celebration of Womanhood, We are only Young once.

I lie with the Daughters of the Dreaming.
I hear their hearts screaming as I am deep asleep.

I go down to Australia's shore, long before the British score
Three hundred years ago.

Thereby the firelight, I watch them dance all night
In the aborigine air.

(Their spirits came from Africa, but some travelled to America,
in the Great Spreading)

In a flash the Second Miracle, the flames became an oracle,
a vision in each blaze.

The world is now their home ,and no one is left alone,
In the ancestral gaze

Nostradamus's knees are weak, he does not have the truth they seek,
only- pious men see doom.

All the prophets have had a flaw, they have not seen that they are sma'
A small part of the Dreaming

Ying and Yang do not make a sound, as chinese woman feet are bound.
It is a moment's freeze

But ying and yang, they struggle free, nought can destroy their liberty
and flight to Balance.

Daughters of the Dreaming can not understand, the cruel ways of fellow men,
but take a stance.

Ying and Yang were left to roam make the world their very own,
and bring all harmony.(The First Miracle is life)

Not an easy task indeed, marred by selfishness and greed,
it takes some talent.
Always does the pace of time seem an everlasting crime.
As suffering's done.

No wonder god is seen as a foolish man, who has fouled up each and every plan,
and left us all forlorn.

But pain does pass and bring anew another portion of life's stew.
For Better or for Worse.

Mary Wollenscraft was always fair, the 'rights of woman' is no prayer.
They are needed.

Rosa Luxembourg lies here dead, though the police dragged her from her bed.
Is that beauty?

Sylvia Pankhurst, Mary Richardson too, and millions more, Maya Angelou, Alice Walker,
American writing, Kurdish lore.
All will last.

From the Suffragettes to the modern RAWA,
Bernadette Devlin and those at Faslane with the sisters down at Greenham
This is beauty.

I stand with the Daughters of the Dreaming.
I stand here with you.
