Haha, Eat The Rich, he just said Revisionist. I think that'll answer your question whether he's interested in Trot groups or not. ;)

Well, I think all honest Stalinist revolutionaries can eventualy understand that Stalinism is light years away from the genuine theories of Marxism-Leninism. To be honest, it needs one conversation, honesty and half a brain to understand that :)http://www.revleft.com/vb/../revleft/smilies/wink.gif

Anyone with "half a brain" knows Trotskyism was originally named Bolshevik-Leninism and Stalinism is synonymous with "Marxism-Leninism". While I take issue with the latter term as I think Stalinism betrays the ideas of Marx and Lenin in a very fundamental way, it is how the world knows these things. Claiming Trotskyism to be Marxist-Leninist only causes confusion.

Sort of, except that it's not very funny, especialy on an introductions thread. :(
Revisionist has all sorts of connotations, none of them very good.
Welcome and don't worry about it.

I don't think that it's impossible to reclaim the word Marxist-Leninist now that Stalinists are insignificant.

That's actually not completely true. To be fair, they're the ones currently leading the most revolutionary struggles in the world today.

Nepal, India, Phillipines. There's also huge M-L influence in the various Latin American revolutionary movements and in the 2 remaining socialist states (north korea and cuba).
And while these revolutions are going on, the trots just sit there being nobs who no one gives a fuck about.

Oh so treason (http://www.marxist.com/nepal-prachanda-resigns.htm) counts as leading revolutionary movements ?
North Korea is not even remotely socialist and Cuba is not ruled by Stalinists, but by bureaucrats.
The influence in Latin America is next to nothing, because their two stage theory is inherently reformist. Ie, let's make alliances with the "progressive" bourgeoisie and sell out the workers.

Anyone with half a brain would know that there is no such thing as Stalinism.
