I´ve read it in Spanish, and don´t know if there is any translation in English, so far...

It reveals what "mediocre" human beigns mean, which are his/her purposes, motivations , and kind of achievements in life.

Well, a leftist-thinking person usually couldn´t be included among the "mediocre" ones, at least in most terms..., if such individual is TRUE with what regards to REAL socialist/communist way of thinking.

A great book, whatsoever. A real good book!

To be perfectly honest (as I always try to be), Panamarisen, I think this book sounds absolutely terrible.

No, obviously that's a bit extreme, it does sound quite interesting. My only problem is that it could be quite preachy. What way is it written? Is it humorous? What are some examples of the "purposes, motivations and king of achievments"?

I think that could be interesting, depends on some details though.

Dearest canikickit: ;)

The book is an essay... Really well written, with a lot of sources and such, even beign written back in the XIXth century. It´s not preachy at all, at least imo! It´s kind of an indeep study of the matter, indeed.

Yeah, that sounds very interesting. I wonder if it is available in English?

There are always a lot of great books available. I think it would be possible to never run out of informative/entertaining things to read. It is a pity that a lot of people these days do not read, I think they miss out on a great deal.
