I am personally influenced by Rage Against the Machine, T.S. Eliot and Robert Jordan. I allude to them, and follow the first twos structure sometimes, but I also break away and do my onw thing.

Where to even begin?
Hunter S. Thompson
Chuck Palahniuk
Shakespeare
Yep, these are the three that I have internal conversations with the most, think about the most, love the most, and am definitely influenced by the most.
Although Daniel Quinn's series of books started with Ishmael are so...right...fucking...on that I can't believe it- and another I cannot forget to mention as a definite influence.
P.S. Oh yeah, how. Well, both Palahniuk and Thompson write the way I think, bold, harsh, to the point, with a perfect mix of dark humor and cynicism. And because they are both geniuses.
Shakespeare and Quinn because of all their great ideas, but I neither think nor write like these two.

Mina Loy
I can never quite make my mind up about the tone of her poems. Sometimes she seems to be mocking her subject and other times she seems very sincere. Her punctuation is reticent, which can give emphasis to certain words and opens her poems up to many different readings.
