I'm desperately looking for a Che biography which is good for "beginners" and people who don't know that very much about him and Cuba. Could anybody recommend?

Up to now, maybe the best biography is the one written by Paco Ignacio Taibo II. There is an English version, too.

I think most of us in this site can agree that Jon lee Anderson's book "Che Guevara: a revolutionary life" is the best, its kinda long, but its the best.

I like Compañero, a good bio, and Fidel Castro's memoirs on Che, which is interesting.

This is not extactly a bio in a story format. But this book is a day to day life story of Che, what he did on each day(well not every single day of his life, but most days), he was always doing something intresting so this book is really good to understand the real che. Most books i read on Che say what he did and the auther intrepts it for you. But by reading this, you can decide for yourself.

the book is:
A BRAVE MAN by Adys Cupull & Froilan Gonzalez

This is my all time favorite Che book, in my opion nothing comes close. I guess maybe cause i visted India in the summer, and after reading the book found out che went to simlair places as me, and stayed at the same hotel for a while.
