can people give me some opinions about the presence og allied troops in Afghanistan? I don't like the west being nosey in other peoples business.
But I hate the taliban. I think that if the allied troops leave that the taliban regime will take over again. that would be really bad.
especially for women. I hate both sides actually. but when will this war end! never?
the taliban is strong and dedicated enough to kill themselves in an action.
and they grew up with war, they don't now better than war they are really guerrila-experts.that against the modern technology from the west. but a western soldier will never launch a suicide-attack. To be honest the whole afghanwar is something I really can't give my opinion about.
so maybe you people can tell me your opinion about it?:thumbup1:

there are already topics about avganistan.
in any case, who are you (people from other culture) to hate other cultures and to mix yourself in local habits of some community in other part of the world? who are you to decide what is bad for people in avganistan? (you sad: it would be bad if talibans take power again).
let other to leave in peace, and if they need revolution, they will make it, if you want to spread revolution there, you should go there and try. imperialist military, they will just produce hate among cultures and you are already full of hate because of TV (war) propaganda. Saudi Arabia is not better about women than talibans, but saudi cooperate with american business and therefore no one publish info about saudi arabia than only about those who oppose American business.
people from west should try, how much they can, to stop this war. if there were big demonstration against war in Vietnam, I don't see reason why there are not big demos against war in iraq/avganistan, the only reason is that people are now more under influence of media than in 70ies.

The Taliban need to go, but they can only be overthrown by the Afghan people. As long as the West continues to occupy Afghanistan, the Taliban can pose as defending the country against Western oppression and get more support that way. Our role in the West can only be to oppose what our own government's doing, and try and lend whatever support we can to the progressive forces inside the country - the Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan (http://www.rawa.org/index.php) is a really good group opposing both US imperialism and Islamic fundamentalism.

We can't defeat Taleban, says Brigadier Mark Carleton-Smith

The departing commander of British forces in Afghanistan says he believes the Taleban will never be defeated.

Relentless Taliban just keep coming

But the Taliban have also changed tactics, increasingly using improvised explosive devices (IEDs), hiring foreign fighters from Chechnya and Uzbekistan as well as from Pakistan, and even managing to lure defectors from the Afghan national army who had been trained by British and American forces by offering to double their £90-a-month combat pay.
Capitalising on an increasingly unpopular government in Kabul and growing anger at civilian casualties, the Taliban now present themselves as less hardline, promising if they return to power they will no longer ban kites or demand quite such long beards.
