it was a good movie, and a long one, 2 dvd! it gave me an interresting perspective of the cuban revolution and also a lot of information about the life of che.

some moments are somehow boring but overall you really get a nice picture of the cuban revolution.

Spoiler: che die at the end.

I watched this at 12:00 AM, it was hilarious when it said "Intermission" two hours in. Me and my friends were like: "WTF!?!". We drove home and got there at 4:00 AM, then we had classes at 8:00!

Haven't seen it. I read about it at the planning stage back in 2001 and already they said that Benicio Del Toro was going to act in it. I recall e-mailing the article from my work to a friend of mine. Soderbergh, as I understand it, did a lot of research into the life of Guevara and travelled several times to Cuba to do it and secure permission from his family.

It's a top ten must-see for me!

Meawhile, how would you compare that to other films about Che such as 'The Motorcycle Diaries' and "Che!" with Omar Shariff? Once you read the "CHE!" wikientry you'll have a fairly easy answer to part of this question.

I saw "CHE!" when I was 13 or 14 yrs. old. I was still 13 or 14 (mentally) when I saw the Walter Salles film.
