I think he's mainly trying to play up how hardcore he is. Either as a result of a misaprehension that we give a fuck or thanks to some sort of ironic dig at macho culture.

I'm a bit addicted to madame jeanette peppers (very over the top fucking hot surinam peppers) I make my own hot sauce from it. and it really adds something extra to my food. a small kind of rush. but only pooping can be very painfull.:rolleyes:

There was this festival I was at that had hot sauce. It was so hot they wouldn't let you eat it unless you signed a waiver. I ate it and loved it although I ate it too fast, causing my mouth to go on fire.
