It's amazing that some people on revleft would think along similar lines. "Those damn Polish are all a bunch of racists."
Well now you know; Microsoft agrees with you.

Well, there's no denying that racism is pretty rampant and unashamed in Poland, unless there's been some change I don't know of in recent years. Recognizing that fact doesn't mean one would justify capitulating to it by editing a black man out of an ad.
As an aside, those racist idiots didn't even bother to change the color of the hand along with the head.

Lots of companies do this. I've seen a website with a shockingly long list of examples (often with really basic mistakes, like leaving in hands of dramatically different colours and so on) but, naturally, have forgotten the fucking url. Regardless, this practice is idiotic and so is the reasoning ("It's not us that are racist it's our target audience!").
While they were going all "purge the darkies" I wonder why the microsoft marketing "geniuses" didn't bother removing the east asain bloke on the far right. Are polish people more accepting of them?

Ha, the hand is still black!
Anyways, that is the problem I have with white people. I am a white person myself, but I have seen far more white racists than any other people. You have the Europeans, the Nazis, the French, the republicans, and now the Polish...You know, you'd think that after the holocaust, the Polish would be a little more accepting of other races.

Actually, ironically enough, anti-semitism is also rampant in Poland. Because the Polish were victims of WW2, they do not share any of the guilt and shame that has helped discredit anti-semitism and racism in Germany.
Anti-semites always want to portray their nation as a victim of some great international Jewish conspiracy. That sort of idea is ridiculous in Germany - after your nation killed six million Jews, it is even more insane than usual to claim that your nation was the victim of a Jewish conspiracy. But since the Poles did not kill any Jews (according to the Polish nationalist version of history, of course), Polish anti-semites can continue to say that poor little Poland was the victim of a Jewish-Bolshevik plot for world domination.

Hm, aren't other arguments of yours like "most of the British proletariat are reactionary" "most of the Israeli proletariat are reactionary". They are clearly pointless arguments and if you're going to think like that, then what's the use in believing in an international revolution.
You know that there is quite a bit of chauvinist British anti-Polish immigrant rhetoric here like: "those bloody cheap polak immigrants are all nazis! They bargained with Hitler!" right?
It's nice to think that reactionary chauvinist British people, Microsoft and quite a few people on revleft think like that. Nice going.

Do you seriously doubt that most workers in Poland, and probably in Britain, and certainly in Israel, have all sorts of reactionary prejudice which more politically advanced workers must fight? Are you one of those leftists who talks about equality but really is too afraid to challenge backwards consciousness?
EDIT: Also, I can't for the life of me think of a single time where I said most British workers are reactionary. I bet you can't, either.

It was posted on the website of Microsoft's Polish office. So it's probable it was a decision from Microsoft's people in Poland.
Poland does have a lot of far-right politics running rampant, that's a pattern all over the former Eastern bloc, unfortunately.

There is a small East Asian community in Poland, mostly Vietnamese.

I believe http://photoshopdisasters.blogspot.com/ may be the website in question, with the abundance of photoshop failures.

Your argument was
racism is pretty rampant and unashamed in Poland not what you just said there.
Most workers in the world have some kind of prejudice which needs to be fought, oddly enough when I've even suggested speaking with workers about their reactionary prejudices on here you can expect responses like "I find it in bad taste to speak to such people!".
Would you agree with this post too? http://www.revleft.com/vb/showpost.php?p=1513833&postcount=32

I fail to see any sort of contradiction here.

I guess it was just a terribel mistake, the people responsible for this must have overlooked him but I fixed that for them. :)

Looks like "the Polish" are bad at photoshop.
On the subject of whiteness (and white supremacy) in Eastern Europe, I've actually found it strange when I've met people of colour from places like Poland and Russia. And of course, they tell me about the Nazis. Mostly in the cities of course.
What I think is really interesting, are the areas where such populations are really big. Moscow to some degree, with many people from the Asiatic region migrating there. But more so with say Eastern Russia, like Vladivostock. Once again, rampant Nazis. However, apparently many Chinese and other Asian groups, due to the close geographical proximity to the region.
I can't wait to see a majority population of Eastern Russia as ethnically Asian. Imagine that! Take the grin right off those stupid bonehead pricks!

MSDOS was a sad sad attempt at copying unix. Linux and *BSD are still vastly superior operating systems in pretty much every regard, besides perhaps as a gaming platform (surprisingly enough MS Windows is quite successful at keeping a near-monopoly there).
