Have you read his books? If so, which one is your favorite? My personal favorite is Slaughter-House 5. Sheer fucking brilliance.

yeah i read slaughterhouse-five, im reading it again in fact for my junior historical research project where i have to show how the ordeals of the time affected his writing. i liked that book alot but i still have to read his others, the one i want to get next is breakfast of champions.

that was also a book of pure genious. I love his writing style, so very dry.

yeah, he's just so truthful. he doesnt try to sugar coat it at all. its just there. makes you wonder.

That, coupled with his dry dry sense of humor and witty social commentary...yeah. Is he still alive? BTW I just finished "Deadeye Dick." It was very good, as always.

not only is he still alive, he is hawking nissans on TV. look for the new nissan moreno comercial. it has him in line in front of a guy buying a first edition of slaughter house 5. he of course autographs it for the guy who gets in his nissan and drives home
