i wrote this whilst going for my usual walk at night, i came accross this huge house with an electric gate.
Your gates lock out reality
Dont want to corrupt your morality
A newer car is your aspiration
and credit is your salvation
Sunday times delivered to your door
Rather be dead in hell than be poor
Nine to five for the rest of your life
The price to pay for a well dressed wife

All that talent, and you still remain modest. Impressive.

good poem
1 question.
why does everyone post there poems on here?
someone could easily steal one. Do you get your stuff copyrighted? Do you post, having a lot of trust in everyone here?
just wondering..

its a valid point but i am not a poet and i dont think of myseld as one, i just write stuff for my self. and anyway i think by posting them here you are making them public so if anyone here were to publish them and i (or anyone) found out i could say here is the material proof that i wrote it and they got it from me. but this does not bother me

I think everything here is copyrighted to Malte, anyway. Don't know, maybe not.
