Clough - Damned United

Watched Damned United recently. Enjoyed the nostalgia very much and though Sheen played the part very well.

I would like to read a more authoritive account of the events though. Can anyone recomend any particular biography on Brian Clough or any other books about his short time at Leeds?

Not read it myself but David Peace's The Damned Utd comes highly recommended. Apparently the made a film out of it and all ;)

Edit: Duncan Hamilton'd biography of the man, Provided You Don't Kiss Me, is also supposed to be pretty good. Frankly I don't think much of sports biographies but Clough seems to have attracted a higher class of hack than most footballers
