He's referring to a NYT article about the growth of the U.S. Arms industry (linked below):

Not surprising at all but certainly a very nice video.

They have to get permission from the Feds to do so.

because once again it shows how stupid those liberals and leftists who believed in Obama's "Change" and "Hope". You know these same liberals and leftists cry about countries like China and Russia selling weapons to countries known for human rights abuses. Yet Obama has no problems selling weapons to "glorious democratic" countries like Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan etc... And to be selling more weapons than Bush, just emphasises the point that Obama is no different then Bush in his foreign policy.

Again, how does private weapons manufacturers selling weapons overseas equate to "Obama" doing it?

And...?

Because that's how arms sales are usually carried out. When the U.S. agrees to sell x number of weapons to Foreign Country A, it's not generally out of its own military stockpiles, except when they are getting rid of surplus/obsolete goods.

If you've watched his other videos you'll notice that he has an accent. It's like he learned most of his English at home from super-intelligent parents for whom English is a second and possibly a third language.

In other words, in this video (and all others that I have seen) his speech sounds totally natural; rehearsed, perhaps, but unaffected.

While I have no doubt he's continuing such a thing, did anyone happen to notice the article only cites numbers from 2008 and is all about last year, before Obama was even in office?

True. But assuming that no new private arms deals were made post 2008, it is assumed that Obama can exercise certain executive powers of his office to rescind the government-issued permits to traffic in arms.*

*Executive "powers", BTW, wrongfully appropriated by Bush/Cheney & Co. to do bad things like malfeasance in office (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malfeasance_in_office), political persecution (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_persecution) under the guise and color of law (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_of_law), torture (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torture), etc. The definitions are there, and the examples abound.

Nice video. People should not be fooled by the false dichotomy of the lesser-evil. The only difference between the democrats and republicans in the U.S. is that they have different sectors of big business that they support. Neither has any morality or decency in their leadership.
