Haha i think we should all make it compulsary that when the reovlution comes, we have to equip ourselves with an item that represents our current/former trades.

ASDA shopping trollies in one corner, McDonalds spatula's in the other. Good times!

I always preferred the McEwans ad from 1989 - The exploited workers smash their way into the trendy drinking bar.

Oh come off it a bunch of culturally working class men storming Halifax in groups corresponding to there employment driven on by a lust for strongbow is far more believable then a bunch of larger fans pushing boulders around to the tune on 1980s substandard music.

Just incase you are in any doubt at the legitamacy of strongbow as the drink of the working class

i wonder where in the battle line up the 'strongbow executives' appear.

As much as i like the idea of the strongbow corporation being an apple picking co-operative i doubt they work that way.

Perhaps the most insulting and ridiculous form of advertising trying to sell products to working class people are the ones which actually try to appeal to working class identification/sentiment.

Thats what I don't like about it. It's capitalists blatantly trying to incorporate the idea of working class anger to sell Strongbow, i.e. alcohol, which is something these working class people are meant to be 'fighting' for, its like that passive bourgeoisie acceptance of the existence of class, sort of like, 'your working class, pissed off, don't worry, we're on your side, you all can drink strongbow'.
