Hi, people!

I know there are some posts about both of these, but I´m seeing that it seems almost nobody cares about these two important authors (specially nowdays!)...

If we want to understand the struggles of Latin America and the actual World situation because of the U.S. Governments, we MUST read these authors.

I own several Chomsky books, I love listening to him. Intelligence flows off of this man's lips. He has great resources. I couldn't agree with you more about his importance. I have never heard of the later, but since he was grouped with Chomsky I will check him/her out.

Read Howard Zinn too, Chomsky and He go hip to hip. Also Howard Zinn is a bit of a more easy read.

Thanks, ec, for making me know Howard Zinn. Of course I´ll look for his books...
I´ve red Eduardo Galeano always in Spanish, but I´m sure there are books written by him and translated to English.
Here is a website about him (in Spanish!):

He is a very sensible and important author in my opinion.

Finally someone else on this forum who knows about Eduardo Galeano.

I created a thread about him like 3 months ago, almost no one responded.

He is definitely right up there with Chomsky.

aG, looks like very few people know about Eduardo Galeano, and I dont´t blame them, because he writes in Spanish, (he is from Uruguay) so very few people know him.
OK, anyway, the idea is that we (everybody) most make people to know about him...
