Just watched 'Baltazar's Feasts or a night with Stalin'
It's about a single night with Stalin and Co having a dinner feast.
Besides it's absurd depiction of Trotsky I liked it. It had a lot of subtle play between all the party members and Stalin comes off with an almost poignant tragic aspect, despite the devious 'dialectical punishment' that he meets out, as he calls it in the film. The interaction between part members, the small power struggles, the subtle wrangling for Stalin's favor, all comes across in a moody, semi-paranoid atmosphere. You can get it from Netflix.
