Hey Comrades! I am a 14 year old marxist. What do I say when capitalist's and other anti-communist's ask questions such as:
"Communism can never work"
"Communism is dying"
"During the time of the soviet union the leaders drove expensive cars while the people starved"
Please help me comrades with quick answers:). VIVA LA REVOLUTION

I'm an anarchist, not a Marxist, but I'll try to answer some of your questions.
"During the time of the soviet union the leaders drove expensive cars while the people starved"
The Soviet Union was a State Capitalist totalitarian dictatorship. In a true Communist society, there would be a concept of expensiveness, and people would have the cars they needed to have.
My US Gov. teacher said something like this, and then I got into a big debate with him. ;)
"Communism is dying"
No, it isn't, just waiting to be born. ;)
"Communism can never work"
It can, and a lot better than capitalism, in terms of equality and freedom.:thumbup1:

"Communism can never work"
What evidence supports this? Why can it never work, why would someone state such an absurd claim. Judging an ideology that has never been implemented, laughable.
"Communism is dying"
Quite the opposite. The latest economic crisis in the series of periodic global capitalist crisis's is not over. Workers are losing jobs, getting pay cuts, getting cut back. Historically in periods of economic disaster the populace turns to radicalism. They will realize who led them into this mess.
"During the time of the soviet union the leaders drove expensive cars while the people starved"
The Bolsheviks failed to implement any type of socialism. Instead of sticking to their principles they resorted back to one man management capitalist firms. The Soviet Union was capitalist, the rich had extreme luxuries while others starved.

Go to the Sticky thread in this category called "High School Commie's Guide", it has answers to most fallacious arguments posted by capitalist apologists.

"Communism can never work"
Assuming they mean Socialism (what they had in USSR, China etc), ask were the highest economic growth rates ever have been (USSR and China), which countries have reduced poverty at unprecedented levels (China, USSR).
Ask why, In the late 1940s when India became an independent Capitalist country and CHina became an independent Socialist country; India, despite having better infrastructure and administration after independence than China, did China out perform India?
Why, in 1991, when the USSR embarked upon complete capitalism, and China only introduced elements of Capitalism, did the living standards of Russians fall and their economy collapse, yet China's economy and living standards continued to grow?
"Communism is dying"
1/4 people live under a Government committed to Socialism and eventually Communism. China, a socialist country, had its economy grow by 8% last quarter. How much did the great Capitalist USA's grow?
Why are "Peoples Wars" (civil wars) being fought by Communists in India, Peru, Philippines, Bhutan etc Why did the people of Nepal elect the Communist party?
"During the time of the soviet union the leaders drove expensive cars while the people starved"
People didn't starve in the USSR since the 1930s and WWII. The situation you describe is more common in Capitalist countries.
