Have anybody of you read the soviet book called "Scientific Communism", which was meant to be study material for the soviet university students?
I am just interested if it had been translated into English.

Scientiful Communism is only the theory that tries to justify the Soviet system they called 'communism'. It's the official ideologie of the Soviet Union. So I suggest every person who's fan of USSR to read it but everybody who doesn't sympathize with it just to keep away! It's too trashy... Better read MARX, with him you'll be happy but in the scientific communism Marx has been to much violated.

Very interesting opinion. But you are wrong.
Scientific communism is one of the parts of the marxism-leninism. It is not Soviet ideology, it is the ideology of Marx and Lenin. If you think the way you do, I am ready to listen to your agruements.
Please, give me some proof of how Marx was violated. I don't know if you had read this book, but I have read it. And guess what?
I have not found any contradictions to the Marxism.
Moreover, you have to admit that Scientific Communism is based on the Marxism-Leninism.

So, it was actually translated. I am surprised.
MJM, what do you think of it? Are there any contradictions to Marx or Lenin?

Scientific communism does base on Marx's and Lenin's ideology but it's fundamentally the SOVIET IDEOLOGY. Everything there is based on Marx and Lenin (and they do have very good points there, I do admit it!) but at the same time it has been 'accomplished' by Soviet scientists. That's tre reason why it's not the pure Marxism-Leninsm.
I have not read all of it but I've read some chapters. It can be even interesting but I don't think it's a must read book for persons who are interested about communism. More for those who do like the Soviet Union.

I haven't read it all yet, I got about 50 pages into it then went on an overseas trip and it's been in my bookcase since. I'll start reading it again soon and decide for sure what I make of it.
It seems ok to me so far, it's essentially quotes from Marx, Engels and Lenin so I can't see how it would contradict Marxist-Leninist ideals.

.
If you admit that scientific communism is based on the Marxism-Leninism, then you contradict to yourself by saying that scientific communism is not pure marxism-leninism , as " it has been 'accomplished' by Soviet scientists. "
Acording to your opinion these soviet scientists made some serious mistakes and violated the theory of Marx and Lenin. Then, if you are so smart point out their mistakes!
Soviet theoretics developed the Marxist-Leninist theory, without any mistakes and contradictions to the original theory.
If you don't agree with my statement, prove me that I am wrong.
