Does anyone know any good youth communist groups in Washington, USA...preferably in Spokane? I am a pretty bad leader, so I'm hesitating about actually starting a group, which is why I asked.
Thanks y'all!

Most of the parties and organisations that have groups in Washington tend to be in the Seattle/Tacoma area, so you might not have much luck in Spokane.
Still, these are the groups I know of that have organisations in Washington State:
Freedom Socialist Party/Radical Women- www.socialism.com
International Socialist Organization- www.internationalsocialist.org
Party for Socialism and Liberation- www.pslweb.org
Socialist Alternative (already mentioned by Q)- www.socialistalternative.org
Workers International League- www.socialistappeal.org
In addition, the Socialist Party USA (www.socialistparty-usa.org) has members in Washington state, but currently no chartered locals.
I'm obviously partial to the SP-USA (and if you want to learn more about us feel free to PM me or something), but probably the best thing for you to do is take a look at the general principles of each of the organisations that I listed above, and see how they compare to what your current perspective is. Also take a look at their current campaigns in Washington, and go to a couple meetings if you're able to.

As mentioned, the Party for Socialism and Liberation has a branch in Seattle. If you're looking for a Marxist-Leninist party, I'd recommend looking into us. I'm a member and if you have any questions or anything, let me know and I'll try to answer them.

Maybe not precisely what you're looking for but good nonetheless: there's four IWW branches in WA, including one in Spokane

I looked into it, and it seemed pretty interesting...though I'm more interested in a combo of education and protesting rather than purely rallying and striking (which seems like the main part of IWW). Thanks anyways!:)
ALL the great organizations are in Seattle...what's up with that?:cursing: Oh well, it is a major city. I just deemed Spokane as the most boring, conservative place ever.

ComradeLenin, what are your politics? I think if you give us an idea of what your politics are it would be easier for us to let you know of groups in your area that you'd be interested in.

My apologies for not explaining before...I would now consider myself a Marxist-Leninist-Maoist (mostly Marxist). But, I am very new to communist theology, and am liable to change my views somewhat.
Thank you all for your help!!!:)
