Out of our boxes.
Ever tried to get a Christian out of their box, so they can describe reality without using their pre-conceived ideas and terms. Have you ever tried to get a Marxist or anarchist even to get out of theirs? It’s not easy. But if we want to save our society from unknown climate effects and either a turning to increased state oppression or break downs of social order [or both], then we need to get out of our boxes and do something new quick. Otherwise the protesters will remain protesting and the Marxists will be waiting for the day the proletariat rise up[and probably wont recognise it when we do.] The public will remain ignorant and scared and the rich fortify their defences, while we all gently cough our self’s to death.
Seeing society divided into terms of class war and conflict might not be the best way of seeing, its certainly not the only way of seeing society.
Take me for example lower working class scum , what has marx or engels ever done for me, material dialectics ? Pull the other one, but I studied em anyway and they did influence me and like many others were brought to insights of how our society works. But I never fell into the box. We got to get out of our boxes

Ignore large organizations, they are traps and will use your energy by engaging you on projects that wont achieve any radical change to the status quo. All large organizations and groups have been infiltrated and peopled at the top be pro-capitalist elements. Class war will only achieve conflict it will not resolve it.

My environment has been fucked up for a long time. I think that environmental issues are important to revolutionary struggle, but so are many other issues. I think the environmental issue strike a chord in many with the ruling class and their well-off conspirators in the working class because they may be equally affected by environmental issues.

However, I am generally concerned only with environmental issues that highlight a need for class struggle. Such as dumping chemicals in waterways where people bathe or drink from, the pollution of poor neighborhoods by industry, etc. As far as it being a fight for "social equality", I can't help but feel like the capitalists fucked it up and now they are scared its gonna hurt them. I also feel that if we do make progress in this direction, as soon as the rulers and their conspirators in the working class feel like the environment is not in as much danger anymore, they will go back to the same thing.

But I want "social equality" in all areas, the environment is one place where "social equality" is pretty close. I don't mean to undermine the struggle for a clean Earth, but I guess I sort of resent doing work that helps the ruling class when there is so much more that I can do and do that helps the working class and fucks the ruling class.

BTW Franz Fannon was right-on when he said that anything we get from the capitalists must be extorted. The class war you are trying to avoid is already going on, you just don't know it yet.
