A decent draw for AZ. Olympiakos and Standard are not the easiest opponents, but they can be beaten.

I've always said that the CL doesn't really begin until the knockout stages. Still, there are some good games here and groups D & E should throw up some interesting scenarios

For me, the Champions League are the last sixteen and quarter-finals. Those are always the best fixtures.
Group stages can be cool, and the Final sucks because all of the media hype around it. Same goes for the Semi Finals.
(Especially when there are 3 english clubs there :) )

Understatement. We will beat them without playing our full teams. Probably win the first 3 games then play youngsters.

I think Liverpool's group could be quite easy if Liverpool play to win like they usually do in Europe.

Well yes, you will. But the competition for the 2nd place will be interesting. AZ can beat Standard and Olympiakos, but of course, that sentiment will also exist with those two clubs. All of these teams can challenge for a place in the knockout rounds. But they'll have to fight it out amongst themselves, because I agree that they will all be heavily beaten by Arsenal.

Yeah for sure. Looking at the groups there should be a couple of interesting battles for 2nd place.
