Hello! I'm a 2nd year Politics student living, studying and working in London. I would describe myself as a socialist, but I reserve aligning myself to a particular branch/theory until I have more knowledge of politics and the world in general. (On the Political Compass test I got: Economic Left/Right: -7.12; Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.62 as a rough and horrifically simplistic estimate.) I'm an atheist. I oppose imperialism and fascism in all of their forms.


I look forward to making my way through your reading list and for some interesting debate on the board.

Mind that Political Sciences is heavily biased towards bourgeois political models. The most practical advise I can give is to think for yourself and take your own conclusions.

As Q mentioned, Many PoliSci classes do indeed tend to be biased against Socialism and Communism so I suggest doing your own research on the side.
