Has anybody on this forum seen this movie? What did you think? I have to say that I was impressed to say the least. Great to hear the Danish story of the resistance against the Nazis.
It is something that hasn’t really been brought to the fore much (except for probably in Denmark, obviously) in cinema as far as I know.
I watched this film on recommendation after watching the Norwegian side (Max Manus) and have to say that I’m at odds to which one is best. But have to say at the end that Flame and Citron probably beats Manus as it’s so well done and less romantic nationalism.
I don’t want to give much away but the ending even hurt me nearly to tears. Good effort!
