I strongly suggest everyone tries to read "Notes on Nationalism". :)

Here is a website with the Collected Works of Orwell, from his essays to all his novels...

I recommend reading an interesting Orwell article on Civilian Bombing (http://www.resort.com/~prime8/Orwell/07_14_44.html)
But I do object to the hypocrisy of accepting force as an instrument while squealing against this or that individual weapon, or of denouncing war while wanting to preserve the kind of soceity that makes war inevitable.
Some stuff worth thinking about.
There's also The newspeakdictionary (http://www.newspeakdictionary.com/ns_frames.html) - which has a lot of good information, but also some sweeping generalised criticism of the Communist Manifesto.
