Michael Moore strikes again. Who knows, maybe the old Eugene Debs days of anti-capitalism and pro-democracy are comming back.

The trailer looks awesome. Can't wait to check it out.
Moore: "Where's our money?!"
Congressional Oversight Officer: "I...don't know"

That film looks good and informative. I like movies which confirms my view on capitalism.
Congressman: "I...don't know"
She looked more like a congresswoman. They realy should change it to something less sexist, like congressperson. But her real title is congressional oversight officer.

A typo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Typo) makes me a patriarch (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patriarch)? Fuck you

I don't get it...Is there something wrong with the term "congresswoman"?

I don't get it...Is there something wrong with the term "congresswoman"?
Historic:
Hayenmill makes a typo, and refers to a woman as "congressman"
Kamerat calls him out on the typo, and calls him patriarch while he's at it
Hayenmill questions the validity of calling someone a patriarch because of a typo, while he fixes the typo, which now reads: "Congressional Oversight Officer" as suggested by Kamerat
Kamerat's continues fallacious argument
Hayenmill explores the insanity of the argument while engaging in open attack to the logic of Kamerat (the fuck you part)
Kamerat's turn...

No there is nothing wrong with the term congresswoman. But people often call the people in congress "congressman", even when they are female. To keep it simple and not sexist it would be better with congressperson then just congressman for both male and female or congressman/congresswomen depending on which sex the person have.

Lol, I sure do hope all those hard working people in congress don't get discouraged when us fools use improper terminology. But in all seriousness, I think all this creepy feminist stuff has been blown way out of proportion.

Yea because womens place are in the kitchen. There is a reason its called congressman and its because there should be only men who are congressmen:rolleyes:
Fucking reactionary views. There is nothing creepy about equality. Its only fair and just.

Feminism is not creepy it is a necessity in terms of building a unified working class. However some members of this fourm who feel the need to show off how totally feminist they are compared to the rest of us plebs take it upon themselves to bring up irrelevant points and point out the obvious.

[Sarcasm] Just becasue I think modern feminism is mostly a joke, that must mean I think women need to stay in the kitchen. [Sarcasm]
Fucking reactionary views. There is nothing creepy about equality. Its only fair and just.
I was talking about modern feminism, not equality. Maybe if feminism were backed by more substantial philosophical arguments, I would take it more seriously. But for the most part, it is backed by nothing more than emotional cries. Here is a line from my favorite feminist, Robin Morgan....
"Let it all hang out. Let it seem *****y, catty, dykey, frustrated,
crazy, Solanisesque, nutty, frigid, ridiculous, bitter,
embarrassing, man-hating, libelous. . . . Sexism is not the
fault of women—kill your fathers, not your mothers."

I don't think "sexism exists in society" really requires any substantial philosophical argument to prove. A pair of eyes and a brain to process information should be enough.
That said all these replies ought to be trashed because Kamerat was being dumb.
