I've read Revolutionary Suicide and The Huey Newton Reader, I'm gonna peep To Die for the People and Bobby Seale's Seize The Time in a minute.
I love this sh1t, I think it's so much more relevant to the struggle in America than anything Lenin, Che, or any other dead revolutionary from outside of this country could give us. These guys lived it.

i was reading, i think it was his thesis for school, which i cant remember the name of right now. its a short book, and begins with some of the history of dissidents of america in the early 1900's. from what i read of it, i liked it a lot. i havent had the chance to finish, as someone has checked the book out of the library, and we have only one copy of it. do you own a copy of revolutionary suicide? i tried to order that from the book store, but they said they couldnt get it for me. i have been wanting to check that one out.

I can never find any of his books in shops and the only time I found any of his books on any site the publisher had demanded they be withdrawn.

i finally found a borders when i went to my college orientation, and they didnt have one. i think they can order it, so when i go to school in late september, i will order it then.
I haven't read any Huey Newton but I read Bobby Seale's autobiography (i found it at my college library, i think its out of print now and can not remember the title) and it was amazing. I also saw Bobby Seale speak when I was in college (i think it was 95 or 96) and talk about "keeping it real!!" You might think he'd be in a suit or something of that nature but he strode into a packed auditorium in an untucked shirt, jeans, and baseball hat and talked for four hours. No one even glanced at thier watches I think. It was an amazing experience. The best speaker I have ever seen!!!

I love Huey Newton too. He had the boldness you rarely see in Amerika. I saw that film Panther directed by Mario Van Peebles. It kicks ass. I also flipped through Revolutionary Suicide and Seize the Time. Couldn't finish them both though. Still, Newton and Eldridge Cleaver ended up badly, strung out on drugs and Newton was shot six times in the head in a drug deal gone bad. Only Bobby Seale emerged to have a decent old age.

That book don't go for cheap...no idea why. I guess I got lucky when I found my copy. But, if you can find it and it's not $100 pick it up...worth the read.
