These days we can read in media about calendar made by ancient Maya tribe, who got the result that our world will ended during the year 2012.Last what i heard about the way how will this happened is that earth magnetics poll will be disturbed,so if we take Maya calendar as mathemathic result, then we can make conclusion that earth magnetics poll will crushdown in the year of 2012.So,truh or not,if we take hipotheticly about exsistence of some kind of Galactic federation in universe, which is similar as our political system today, and if we concidered that GF got lot of space ships, with they can save us of annihilation, who will vote for us in GF for saving our sorry asses?
For GF,if its exist of course,we are so primitive and so dangerous,so for them is better that humans gone, becouse we killing each other like in video game. For them is better that we desapeare with thought that we are alone in space.Like Daglas Adams wrote in his book we still dont have space flights, but we have nuclear wheaphon.
If two delegates of GF are speak each other about us that will be like this:
"Humans!!Please dont bring them here, they will kill us all".
Ore:"They pist me off with those frustrations are they alone in space, dear galaxy, made the f...g spaceship and then see are you alone in space, for galaxy sake".

I dont believe that we about two years can make spaceship by hyndai. So i ask you comraders, does anyone of you can make spaceship?

These days we can read in media about calendar made by ancient Maya tribe, who got the result that our world will ended during the year 2012.

I believe that's based on a misunderstanding.

Last what i heard about the way how will this happened is that earth magnetics poll will be disturbed,so if we take Maya calendar as mathemathic result, then we can make conclusion that earth magnetics poll will crushdown in the year of 2012.

Magnetic pole shifts have occurred before, and the world is still inhabitable.

So,truh or not,if we take hipotheticly about exsistence of some kind of Galactic federation in universe, which is similar as our political system today, and if we concidered that GF got lot of space ships, with they can save us of annihilation, who will vote for us in GF for saving our sorry asses?

That would depend on their motivations for doing so.

For GF,if its exist of course,we are so primitive and so dangerous,so for them is better that humans gone, becouse we killing each other like in video game.

Without a datum of comparison it's impossible to say. How can we know whether our savagery is normal or not for species at our level of development?

For them is better that we desapeare with thought that we are alone in space.Like Daglas Adams wrote in his book we still dont have space flights, but we have nuclear wheaphon.

The problem is that in Earth conditions, a technological society will develop nuclear weapons before advanced spaceflight. Why? Because it's easier.

If two delegates of GF are speak each other about us that will be like this:
"Humans!!Please dont bring them here, they will kill us all".

Human civilisation as it currently stands poses absolutely no threat to a civilisation capable of exploring and colonising the galaxy. In order to do so, a civilisation must be able to harness planetary and greater amounts of energy - currently we can hardly harness all the energy available on this one planet.

Ore:"They pist me off with those frustrations are they alone in space, dear galaxy, made the f...g spaceship and then see are you alone in space, for galaxy sake".

I'm afraid I don't understand what you're getting at here.

I dont believe that we about two years can make spaceship by hyndai. So i ask you comraders, does anyone of you can make spaceship?

I don't think so. Colonising the Solar System (never mind the galaxy!) will require the technical skill and resources of multiple nations. But it is surely a noble and worthwhile endeavour.

What do you mean Noxion about misunderstanding?

Whatever Noxion, are we in any case of earth crushdown, should have backup exit,so we can escape from planet?

What kind of motivations they have in our case to save us from annihilation?

Well,we dont know, but if we take this hipotheticly, that killing each other in GF is not god, they will not like us so mutch. For example if we destroy ourselves with nuclear whepons, our planet will be covered with radioactive clouds, and in a meantime if some spaceship pass near our planet, they will not know that on this planet before been some human species,at all.

Well, that is correct but nuclear energy right now is not helping us to avoid catastrophy if its come in our way.Right?

So is that god or bad for GF?

I mean that delegates in GF will not help us to build spaceships. We have to do by it self to prove that we can be the part of GF.

So Noxion do you got technical skills to make spaceship in two years?

The earth has as much chance of disappearing in 2012 as civilization had in 2000 with the y2k virus.

I'd be more worried about the CERN experiment, but even in that it's a minimal chance of actually generating a black hole, and an even smaller chance that it expands.

whatever hayenmill, should we have buckup in any case so we can escape?

Escape what? There's no danger whatsoever.

but what if?

What if we stopped thinking of unexisting threats and started focusing on existing ones, like oppression, diseases, war, poverty, etc?

of course that we have bigger problems than this, but what if we came in this situation what will you do?

Unexisting threats are sexier.

Tom Cruse could star in a movie about space invaders like War of the Worlds. Movies about curing social ills unless it's Ramboesque are pretty dull.

Depends on the actual existing threat. If the threat is that the whole of earth will disappear, then building colonies in Moon and Mars would be a good idea, as well as other planets.

If the threat only takes away conditions for life on Earth then building underground vaults where life as we know it is preserved, with many different species, water and waste recycling systems, geothermal energy devices etc would suffice.

I still don't see the point in discussing this. It's a very big and unbased "what if".

the end of the world is set for 2012, we are all gonna die at the same time, our jaws will release and we will all crap in our pants all together.

that pretty much it.

read the books by Daglas Adams so you will see the point
